another birthday celebration.

didn't go Sentosa today. i can't stand the sun and i cannot be under the sun for 1 to 2 hours or else i'll have a headache. meet joanne and sockhua at vivo. joel, libin, esther and esther's bf came to meet us later at vivo. had our dinner at this steamboat restaurant. it's called 北川 something. can't remember the name. we ordered one side of the steamboat that is seafood soup and the other side is 麻辣湯. the 麻辣 side is really spicy! i tried half soup-spoonful and i didn't touch that side for the rest of the dinner. all of us love the 炸饅頭 there. we keep re-fill the 炸饅頭. i don't like the fried chicken wing/drumplets there. the food there is average.

joel kept adding meat into the soup when it's like 45 minutes before the shop close. i must say that i don't like mutton that is cook in soup. i prefer the satay mutton. when we first sat down, we told the waiter that we're student and he told us to tell the cashier when it's billing time. end up we had our dinner till 10pm which is also the time where the shop close. they print out the bill before we showed them our student id card. esther's bf also paid student price when he's not even a student. oh well, it's them we make a loss. haha.

after dinner, it's photo session time. i didn't take many photos. something funny about Joel is that he use one of the board to place his handphone and set timer to take a group photo. end up one of the staff asked him to push back. all of us were laughing and he's so paiseh. lols. after photo session and we head back home.
