it's been so long....

woke up only at 11:10am this morning. actually i was awake at 8 plus. all thanks to my niece who came in to my room and wake me up by shouting her language of "wake up!" ate my lunch and went to prepare to go out.

we're suppose to meet 2pm at Orchard mrt station. i was a bit late. *sorry guys* went to grab a bite. then, waited for Winnie to come. head off to Botanic Garden only at 3pm.

when we reached there, we see the Botanic Garden map to location of the Visitor Centre. gosh~ it's like so far from the Tanglin Road gate. walked almost halfway through the Botanic Garden, Ivey decided to give Ms Ng a call. end up Ms Ng said that she'll get someone to fetch us there and she told us to walk back to the Tanglin Road gate =.= but luckily we manage to sit one of the lecturer's car there. there were two cars there and the car that i sat, we had to squeeze 5 person at the back seat. Soon Yan sat on Cheryl's and my lap.

we're super late when we reached there. we feel quite bad as in this was suppose to be CIP but we had to let them wait. but there's other volunteer there. didn't really do much things there. it's like we're having a picnic there. saw lots of dogs there. but i didn't ran away. lols.

oh ya, when we're walking in to the Botanic Garden Visitor centre, we're wondering why GuangYe had to cover his head. he told Athena and me that he had a bad experience. he's scare of walking under tree because last time he got "aim" by the bird shit. lols. he also said that there's once the crows scratch his head. but luckily it's a light scratch, so it's not bleeding.

talking about bird shit. Kelvin was "aim" by a bird and the bird poo on his head. lols. the lecturer who drove us there also got "aim". but luckily the bird poo on his sleeve. next time when you go Botanic Garden, make sure you don't stay below the tree to long. if not i think you will be the bird's next target.

the whole thing ended at 6:30pm and the lecturer is so nice to give us a ride back to the Tanglin gate. the first trip that the lecturer made was a comfortable one cos there's only JiaNing, Winne, Soon Yan, Juliana and me. so it's not so pack. the second trip was very pack though. there's Ivey, Kelvin, GuangYe, Cheryl and Athena squeezing themselves.

took bus 7 back to Orchard. Winnie and Cheryl went off first followed by Soon Yan and Guang Ye. the rest of us went to Shaw Tower, Mac to have our dinner. Juliana said a super duper lame joke. followed by JiaNing saying a lame joke which made so many of them thinking so hard. but i was the first to give up and when she whisper to my ear the answer, i'm totally freezed by that answer. haha.

had an enjoyable yet tiring CIP today.

but seriously, it's been so long since i stepped into Singapore Botanic Garden. there's some changes. there's no more swan on the swan lake. but there's a swan sculpture on the swan =.= and the tree trunk that is printed on the $5 note is much lower compared to the last time i went to Botanic Garden which is like more than 10 years ago. haha.
