Went for my appointment at health board today

Woke up early in the morning at 8am. Went to eat breakfast before going for the appointment. Asked my sister to accompany me there.

Was late for 20mins. LOL. Suppose to reach there at 10:20am but I reached there at 10:40am. It's ok if you're late. LOL. Set off only at 10am but within 40mins I can reach health board there. Took NEL there of course fast lah.

Register before I went for the check up. As usual, I need to pay $4 when I'm registering. After registering, need to go to room 21 again to measure my height, weight and my posture. Love to go that room. Cuz all I have to do is to measure only.

After the measuring, I need to go to room 18 for my check-up. While waiting for my turn, I'm praying hard that the doctor is a female one. I visited health board for my check-up for only 2 times not including this trip there one.

The first time there was December last year. I remembered I went there with my sister and my dad. That check-up I had a female doctor. She was not bad after all. But I had bad memory for that first visit. The first time I’m there to check my backbone, the first time I had my x-rays.

But having x-rays is quite fun and troublesome. But a person cannot always have an x-rays too often. It's the first time I’m having x-rays so I don't really know what to do. The nurse told me what to do and I had to follow her instructions. She told me that I had to take off everything except my underwear. OMG!! I was so shocked. But what can I do? I need to do this so that they can see how curve my backbone is.

The second time there was June this year. Went there with my auntie only. That check-up I had a male doctor. OMG!! I had to see male doctor. Cuz after all I'm still a girl what. LOL. But I've got no choice. Hate that male doctor there. How can he let his patient wait for him to finish reading his message that someone just sms him? Ok fine, I'll wait for him to finish reading already den help me check my backbone. But after he read finish, the phone ring. So he had to talk on the phone for a while before checking my backbone. Wasted so much of my precious time just to wait for him.

Back to today's check-up. When it's my turn, I went in myself. Told my sister to sit outside to wait for me. When I first stepped in, I'm so happy. Cuz the doctor was female. The first question that she asked me was ' How's your back? '. She's so caring. Told her that my back was fine and she starts to measure.

After measuring, she told me that the curve was not too bad. Not much difference form the last measure. She said that I don't need to come back to the health board anymore. Was so shocked to heard that. She said that if you find that the curve is curving again, den you have to come back here or go to the polyclinic to check again. She even joke with me saying that don't come back when you're 70 or 80 years old. She's so cute.

Asked her a few questions before going out of the room. When I'm out of the room, I told my sister about it. Can say that I shouted out. Cuz when I told my sister that time there's a few people look at me. So paiseh. Cuz I'm overjoyed after hearing the doctor saying that I don’t need to come back for check-up again.

Left the health board and went to Chinatown point there to eat my lunch. After lunch, went to Clarke Quay there to meet my auntie. She wanted my sister and me to accompany her there to buy something for her college as she don't know what to buy for them. Finally found a suitable gift. Told her to buy a tie for her college anyway his a guy what. My sister helped her to choose a nice tie. There's a picture of a few dolphins on the tie. Quite nice.

Went to Liang Court there to find if there's any box. Cuz she bought a very huge pen for her friend as a Christmas present and she's finding a box to keep it and also easier to wrap it up.

After that went back to Hougang Mall to eat something before we went home. After going home for a while, my sister ans I need to rush to indoor there again. We wanna see the Singapore Idols walking on the red carpet as the other 9 finalists will be there too and also so MediaCorp artist will be there too. Both my sister and I had no tickets in to the indoor but just go there to see see only.

Heading off to indoor in about 15mins time. Shall blog more when I come home or after the results.
